SUMMARY:The Seneca Chief Comes to Lock 24!
DESCRIPTION:An exact replica of Dewitt Clinton’s Erie Canal Boat\, the Seneca Chief\, will overnight in Baldwinsville at Lock 24 & Papermill Island to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal!  The Seneca Chief is on a 32 day long trip across New York State from Buffalo to Albany and down to New York City. Arrive at 4:30pm\, welcome the boat’s arrival at approximately 5:00 and after a ceremony at 5:15 the boat will be open for tours. Local groups\, including the Camillus Canal Society\, will be on hand\, along with food trucks\, music\, activities and more!  FREE and Family-Friendly!
